We have played this for our son every night since he was born 18 months ago - and we still are not tired of these beautiful lullabyes. I still get teary when I sing some of them! I now give this as a gift every chance I get.

This tape works wonders for all the children we know who have received this as a gift, including our two year old son. Our boy loves to fall asleep to what he lovingly calls his 'sleepy music.' The songs are beautifully soothing through their delicate and fun melodies and pleasant lyrics. We both highly recommend this to parents, grandparents and anyone else who loves to watch peaceful, sleeping babies.

When my daughter was born someone had given her 'A Child's Gift of Lullabyes'. It could have been partially due to postpartem, but it brought tears to my eyes when I would watch my baby easily fall asleep to the music. I say partially because my mother fell in love with the music herself and insisted on her very own copy. The songs are all original songs, not the churned out lullabyes we've all heard over and over again. But they really should be mainstream because they are so simple and easy to sing. The women's voices that you hear are all so pretty and soothing. My daughter would fall off to sleep very quickly upon hearing the music everynight. I am so grateful that Barnes and Noble carries this tape because I need to buy it again. I regret that I gave it away some months ago to a friend for her new born because putting my little girl to bed now, with just a book, is just not cutting it.
