Well, this is amusing. Again, one Christian sect (yes, I will call it that) telling another one what to think and say. Every church seems to think it "owns" the correct view of Christ and that all others are erroneous. I find this book very comforting and thought provoking, encouraging me to be a better person -- not just a better "Christian" in words, but in deeds. After all, our actions are what show us to be Christians. I am very tired of one group of "Christians" berating another group because they don't think or talk the same way. It's time to learn to think and judge for ourselves and stop letting others (including preachers) think for us.

He needs to read her book

Everyone that reads Jesus Calling reads it as Jesus is talking to them. I gave that book toabout 10 people and each has given the book to others. We all need to spend time with Jesus each day and Sarah reminds us of scriptures that prmomises us that he is there calling us to be with him.

    Organized Religon

I'm tired of the hoopla over the church and organized religon. It is time we as christians start lifting each other up and spreading the word of GOD and not bashing each other because we think we have the monopoly on god. Souls are being lost ever day and we want to belittle someone else because they don't meditate the same way we do no wonder the world thinks christianty is a joke. There is only one way to God and it's not through the church or church doctrine it's not through organized religon of any kind the only way to God is through Jesus (John 14:6) . There is only one GOD we either serve him or we don't. It does not matter the church you attened you either serve the risen saviour or you don't . Now i'm sure there is some typos but before you judge rember calm down pray and read your bible first

I wonder what his motive was in writing a book to try and knock

I wonder what his motive was in writing a book to try and knock down a book that has meant so much to so many. If a book is as successful as this one is then would someone want to attach themselves to it to try to get on the best seller list?
I remember when some tried to knock down The Living Bible when it came out. Sad to me that someone would do this. I can't believe that this is pleasing to the Lord.

A real blessing! The Holy Spirit sent this to me in His perfect timing!

Thank you, Jesus, for my Christian friend, who recommended that I pick up this treasure for my mother, during some difficult times. And thank You, Holy Spirit, for directing me to "sample" it before I bought 5 copies. I now read this, along with my Bible, every day. And along with my mother, sister, her daughter, my husband, and my daughter; even across the miles, we have been equally blessed and challenged to allow Christ's presence to become more real in our lives every day. Thank you, Sarah Young, for sharing your heart and Jesus Calling with us.

It is about time that someone really looked into Sarah Young's false prophecies (Matthew 7:15). What she does by sitting with pen and paper and "receiving" God's messages is called automatic writing, which is prohibited by scripture. King does a great job of exposing Young's theological misrepresentations, as well as pointing out the errors in her scriptural "revelations."

Also, the negative reviews here are from people who obviously have NOT read this book.
