    For Pete's Sake

There is always someone who has to pee on someone else's parade. "Heaven is for Real" has brought so much hope and joy to so many and possibly brought them closer to God. It gave comfort to many and if there are "theological inaccuracies" please remember that this was as told by a 3 and 4 year old boy. Get off your religious high horse!

Eat the meat and spit out the bones!

Did you also have rebuttals to C. S. Lewis' "Chronicles of Narnia?"

Hey, don't take it on the kid! It's the dad that wrote the book. And even then, it'll still be up to the rest of us "Bible scholars" to judge for ourselves and see if the story holds water (or not).

I don't have any problem with Colton's story, especially if it seems to bring soothing comfort to an otherwise imperfect world. (I have read the entire 153 pages in my nook and did have to spit out some "bones." And I'm sure others have, too.)

I don't know what your real concern with "Heaven is for real" might be and I'm sure you, as a "Bible scholar," have some.

I'm definitely interested in your "rebuttals" and I would definitely read about them, if only you had published them . . . for free!

    a must read

It is frankly frieghtening that so many people are eager to believe a four-year-old's account of heaven, but refuse to believe the Bible. God help us.

I wish I hadn't wasted $ on this. It didn't prove anything and I actually think some of your arguments were a real stretch. I'll ptay for you!
