About the Author

Born in Spain, José-Luis Munuera grew up reading franco-belgian comics. After an art school in Granada, he tried his luck in France, and a chance encounter with Sfar opened the world of bandes dessinées to him. Now considered a major name in the profession, he is known – among many others – for four volumes of Spirou & Fantasio with Morvan, well-received series The Campbells, and has been chosen to take over The Bluecoatsafter Lampil retired.
