Soxx & the Blue Jeans, A Christmas Gift for You From Phil Spector stands as inarguably the greatest Christmas record of all time. Spector believed he could produce a record for the holidays that would capture not only the essence of the Christmas spirit, but also be a pop masterpiece that would stand against any work these artists had already done. The Classic Rock & Roll Christmas Record

The original Philles label LP is quite rare. How nice to find this released again on CD. (Note: If you can find the Warner repackage it has true stereo originals - regardless of Spector's reputed Mono preferences). Most cuts are now Holiday staples on oldies & rock stations. You'll love it!

    Being a kid again!

I was thrilled to find this in CD format! For years, my sister and I listened to this as kids when my parents had the album way back when. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can hear the Christmas songs of my childhood! I'm sure my kids will also love the funky sounds of this Christmas CD.

Just like the ones I used to know...

Growing up with two older brothers during this era, I was subjected to a daily dose of Top 40 and Phil Spectre's stable was always included somewhere. This CD really takes me back to those days. I have shared this with many people and they all seen to have the same reaction. Kudo's to Spectre for putting this one together!
