Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
The book is based on the video and DVD which features the voice of Elton John. It is also based on the television series "Bob the Builder." Christmas is approaching and Bob and his many friend including human, mechanical, and animals are getting ready for the holiday season. This Christmas should be even happier for Bob because his twin brother, Tom, is coming for a visit. Tom lives at the North Pole. Bob and his friends are planning a large Christmas concert in the town square and are very busy with the preparations. He cuts down a large fir tree and plants more trees to make certain that there will be plenty of Christmas trees in the future. The mayor entrusts him with putting up the Christmas lights, building a stage for the concert, and playing Santa Claus. After a mishap with the tree, Bob must fix the clock and repair the window, also. Meanwhile, at the North Pole, Tom has stopped to rescue a baby deer whose father was trapped on a ledge. He was late catching the boat and cannot make it to his brother's house for the holiday. Lennie, of Lennie and the Lazers, has lost his voice and it look as though the concert won't be held. This Christmas may indeed be one to remember. All ends well. 2003, Simon Spotlight, Ages 3 to 6.
