Meet the Author

Who am I? I am not sure but here are some of the comments made about me;

"...she wrote a story? Who knew?"

"Kevinette, who the hell is that?"

"You wrote this? Not bad for someone who never even went to high school!"

"Don't eat any of her cookies after you've read The Baker's Secret, just thinking about it gives me the creeps."

And last but not least..."You write it, they read it, isn't that what writing is all about?"

Well, for me it is... I hope you enjoy some of my stories..I know I enjoyed writing them.

This was so tender a poem. If only every child could have both his parents together for the holidays. God bless.

I don't remember ever having such a heart wrenching reaction to a poem. If only the governments of the world would stop and think of all the little children's hearts they are breaking before pushing each other into war.

I don't know when the last time was, that a story touched me to the degree that this one did. I think this book should be read, not only by adults, but to older children who "want it all." What the poor little boy went through in this book, was heart wrenching at the very least. Being a Military (retired) family, I can identify with how children feel when their Dad or Mom are away. Even harder, is what Military families go through during War. Anyone not familiar with the Military lifestyle should read this book. Kudos to the author, for capturing what happens when we are at war, and the effect of it on children if service members, and their families.
