Overview

Christianeeze for Churchgoers is a compilation of terms that when mentioned in church, are often hard to understand for many in the pews. Bonnie Andersen provides a practical collection of layman's definitions, inspirational thoughts, and probing perspectives meant to stimulate discussion and deepen one's hunger for the riches of God's Word. The book draws from the insights of well-known Bible teachers, as well as Bonnie's personal collection of Bible study and Sunday School notes, devotionals, ministry newsletters, and articles from Christian magazines.

Christianeeze for Churchgoers is user-friendly and the contents are presented in a warm and personal style. This is a wonderful gift book for any student of the Bible, and a handy tool to support a classroom setting. This is not meant to be the final source for understanding Bible words, but rather to be a good start for basic understanding and a catalyst to learn more.

About the Author

Bonnie and her husband Roy live in Mechanicsville, Virginia, and will soon be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They are the parents of four married children and the proud grandparents of nine energetic grandchildren, ranging in age from two to 21.

Bonnie has been a lifelong student of the Bible. She has also used her talents for the Lord as a Sunday School teacher, VBS worker, church organist and pianist, and a member of church choirs and musical groups.

She has been actively involved in each of the six communities in which she has resided with her family. While living in upstate New York, she served as a 4-H leader, piano teacher, founding member of the Newark Valley Historical Society, and docent for the Bement-Billings House museum. While living in Cheshire, Connecticut, she was one of three musicians who held worship services for several local nursing homes and also worked part-time. Bonnie presently serves as chaplain for the Scotchtown Chapter of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), and is an avid gardener whenever she is not busy with her children and grandchildren.
