I am very glad I bought it. My children ( 2 1/2 and 4) enjoyed the stories: they are short, unusual, not scary, sometimes very funny, written in a lovely language and the reading can be easily adjusted to the age of the child. They also produce a lot of discussions with the kids, both on Jewish culture and on the general subjects of life. I thought the black and white illustrations were exquisite but not colorful enough to attract the kid's attention - but quite the opposite, my children enjoyed catching the details of the stories in the drawings. Was this review helpful?
