Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Although not really a "comprehensive guide," this book provides an excellent introduction to many aspects of landscape photography with digital cameras. Clements opens with a chapter on the "digital mind-set," followed by a straightforward chapter on what he calls the "traditional landscape." He then addresses a number of special challenges of landscape photography, including black-and-white imagery, the creative manipulation of digital photographs, and many other useful possibilities for enhancing one's photographs. Each technique is presented as a brief one- or two-page case study so that readers may readily grasp how the photograph was made. Presenting crisp, vivid photographs as examples, Clements demonstrates the high quality of work that can be done with digital photography. Recommended for all collections of popular photography.
