    Everything you should already know about our economy!

    At 32 yrs old, I finally felt a need to know what I should have picked up in high school (or at least jr. college). Having no clue what "the Fed" was, or even what GDP meant, and certainly no clue of interest rates and their relationship with inflation/deflation, I browsed this book at the bookstore and found it to be very informative without being over my head. The author is very clear, and gives brief examples that anyone can relate to.
    As a young, family man with a mortgage, credit card bills, and thankfully a good chunk in deferred comp, this book opened my eyes to something I should've seen from the day I earned my first dollar.
    To Scholars (or anyone with a firm grasp on economics): This book is probably not for you.
    To Everyone else (especially the young adults): Please invest in your future by building a good foundation and basic understanding in what drives our economy.
    It may sound strange, but I'm happy to finally understand why the Fed lowers interest rates to encourage lending to stimulate spending to control inflation...and why it still may go awry.
