    Inaccurate, Distorted, and Delusional

This book is a rewrite of the Eckankar Dictionary by Paul Twitchell, but Klemp does not give any credit to Twitchell. Klemp also deletes and edits important text which changes the meanings Twitchell was conveying. However, both Twitchell and Klemp were negligent when taking information from other sources and over looked doing better proof-reading. Klemp use to be a copy editor and one wonders what his excuse is. I will give an example with the definition of 'spiritual hierarchy' on page 197: 'Beginning with the SUGMAD, followed by the ECK and the Mahanta, the Living ECK Master [Twitchell uses the plural of Masters], the Adepts of the Order of the Vairagi, the Lords of each plane within the higher worlds, and the guardians of the Shariyat-Ki-Sugmad. Over the lower worlds Sugmad placed Kal Niranjan [Satan], the Lord of the negative worlds; then came the Lords of Karma, the devas (angels), planetary spirits, bhuts, and elementals; then came man and all the creatures subordinate to him: fish, animals, reptiles, plants and stones.' NOW, what happened to the NINE SILENT ONES of Eckankar? What happened to SAT NAM the first manifestation of Sugmad and ruler of the fifth plane as well as all planes above and below? Why is the ECK (Spirit) included in the hierarchy as though it is an entity? Why does Klemp change the Living ECK Masters to the Living ECK Master? Why are fish listed before animals? Why do Eckists not question these things?
