If you don't want to know the pluses or drawbacks to a story do not read reviews. Read the book and form your own opinion first then write your own review. With that said--RT rated this story with 3 stars. The reviewer commented that the story was contrived and didn't impress them. I agree. I will say I rather like Lizzie and Chance. She was shown as caring toward the town's people and her ailing grandfather. Rather liked the setup of the small cattle drive her grandfather had arranged for her and Chance. Even liked Chance's ornery smirks. Gave me hope that something interesting might take place. Instead, the story pretty well flat-lined. Halfway through and nothing terribly gripping happened. Just the usual attraction denials. I suspect something amiss was in play when they finally reached the stockyards, but it was too late to recapture my interest. The writing itself was okay, but this story is just another dull, generic Harlequin with a crawling plot pacing. I give it 2 1/2 stars.
