Great book, but not for the nook

Great book, but NOT on the nook. The format was terrible. The pictures were not on the same page as the words. So i would read it to my son and then we would have to turn the page it see the pic. Not very happy, i wish there would have been a sample so i would have known! We have the regular book & love it, its too bad:(

    Good Little Thomas Book

This is a good story about Thomas the Tank Engine being certain he could get the people to the places they wanted to go, but then encountering hail, which cracks the train track. He realizes that sometimes there are things he can't do, and that besides himself, he really needs a very good train track to operate. There are rhymes on some of the pages in this book, but not all. Familiar characters like Bertie the bus, Percy the train, and Henry the green engine are present in the story.

    A reviewer

i enjoy reading this to my 2 year old as much as he enjoys listening to it. there's lots of detail in the pictures that enable you play little counting/color/vocabulary games along the way as you read the story. my son jumps up and down pointing at the bookshelf shouting 'crack in track!' when it's reading time. lots of repeatability, good value.

    Excellent Book for 2 1/2 + yrs

My 2 1/2 yr. old LOVES this book! We read it every day before nap. It has wonderful rhymes and a small number of sentences per page, so it keeps his attention. Inclues characters of Thomas, Bertie and Harold (Percy, Gordon and James too)! A definite recommendation for any Thomas lover.
