“THE SORCERER’S RING has all the ingredients for an instant success: plots, counterplots, mystery, valiant knights, and blossoming relationships replete with broken hearts, deception and betrayal. It will keep you entertained for hours, and will satisfy all ages. Recommended for the permanent library of all fantasy readers.”

In A CLASH OF HONOR (Book #4 in the Sorcerer's Ring), Thor has returned from The Hundred as a hardened warrior, and now he must learn what it means to battle for his homeland, to battle for life and death. The McClouds have raided deep into MacGil territory—deeper than ever before in the history of the Ring—and as Thor rides into an ambush, it will fall on his head to fend off the attack and save King’s Court.

Godfrey has been poisoned by his brother by a very rare and potent poison, and his fate lies in Gwendolyn’s hands, as she does whatever she can to save her brother from death.

Gareth has fallen deeper into a state of paranoia and discontent, hiring his own tribe of savages as a personal fighting force and giving them Silver Hall—ousting The Silver and causing a rift in King’s Court that threatens to blow up into a civil war. He also schemes to have the fierce Nevaruns take Gwendolyn away, selling her off in marriage without her consent.

Thor’s friendships deepen, as they journey to new places, face unexpected monsters and fight side by side in unimaginable battle. Thor journeys to his hometown and, in an epic confrontation with his father, he learns a great secret of his past, of who he is, who his mother is—and of his destiny. With the most advanced training he’s ever received from Argon, he begins to tap powers he didn’t know he had, becoming more powerful each day. As his relationship with Gwen deepens, he returns to King’s Court in the hopes of proposing to her—but it may already be too late.

Andronicus, armed with an informer, leads his million-man Empire army to once again attempt to breach the Canyon and crush the Ring.

And just as things seem like they can’t get any worse at King’s Court, the story ends with a shocking twist.

Will Godfrey survive? Will Gareth be ousted? Will King’s Court split in two? Will the Empire invade? Will Gwendolyn end up with Thor? And will Thor finally learn the secret of his destiny?

With its sophisticated world-building and characterization, A CLASH OF HONOR is an epic tale of friends and lovers, of rivals and suitors, of knights and dragons, of intrigues and political machinations, of coming of age, of broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is a tale of honor and courage, of fate and destiny, of sorcery. It is a fantasy that brings us into a world we will never forget, and which will appeal to all ages and genders. At 85,000 words, it is the longest of all the books in the series!

Books #5--#13 in the series are now also available!

“Grabbed my attention from the beginning and did not let go….This story is an amazing adventure that is fast paced and action packed from the very beginning. There is not a dull moment to be found.”

This book, as usual, is incredibly well written, and most importantly original, most books just follow the same plot, but this book is unique, I would heavily recommend this for anyone who likes reading. I couldn't stop turning the pages, and that's saying a lot because I had taken drowsy cough syrup, and was still wide awake the entire time. The grammar is great, and there were no points were I had to stop to figure out what I had just read, It all seamlessly flows together, which in my mind is the mark of a good book, again I heavily recommend this book for anyone who can read (or be read to).

    WOW ! Great story

Book 4 in this series has not let me down. I read the previous 3 and this was a great and easy read. I enjoyed every page of this book and cannot wait for book 5. Morgan Rice has created an entire world where there are so many plots and twists and turns that every page jumps out at me. This story is developing so well from the prior books that I cannot wait for book 5 and can already see a great story developing in future installments of these books. I was awed by this book. Do not be worried about some of the negative reviews. I have read all of Ms. Rice’s books and the stories are great and as this develop over the course of prior and additional installments you will not be disappointed.

    Good story line

but the copy editing is some of the worst I've ever seen any where!! Non sequitur of whole sections, horribly mangled grammar. if the plot line wasn't so good I'd recommend not reading this series -- the copy editing is that bad. To the publisher, please copy edit your author's submissions. You're not doing yourself any favors by cutting corners here.

    Great book, well written.

Great book of a series of books on the Sorcerer's Ring. But, do not think I will buy any more books in a series unless the last book is in print. This series is left unfinished and you have to wait 4 or 5 years for the author to finish writing the last book. Like with Game of Thrones. Last book takes 5 to 10 years to write. Me and the Author may not live that long. So from now on, I will refrain from buying books or books in a series that are not yet complete.

For those that have lots of time, I recommend this book and the others in the series.

    Great Read for a series.

The characters appear many times and become very familiar. The have the morals and ethics we would like to see in our heroes today.

    Need better proof reading!!!

Almost through with Book #4 in this series. Love the story line; it's creative and imaginative. However, there are many inconsistencies throughout the books. Characters being referred to by the wrong name; Godfrey suddenly referred to as "Gareth"; Luanda suddenly referred to as "Gwen". One character's name just suddenly changed from one book to another: Luanda's husband. He's "Devon" in one book, and then he's "Bronson" in another. Nothing spoils reading a good story by pulled up short in confusion: "What? What are they talking about?".

Exciting story but not for teens.

This was an exciting story! I do not feel like this is a book for teens. It discusses doing drugs, getting drunk, violence, and sexual violence. There are places where the author repeats so I hope in future books, the editor will correct that.

    good

an enjoyable series. but he's a bit over his head in the grammar department. Phrases are repeated over and over, and it gets boring. Words are used incorrectly throughout the books. I will continue to read the next set just to reach the conclusion, but I will also continue to repress my inner grammar ninja.
