Meet the Author

A Midwesterner by birth, R.E. spent much of her childhood rewriting her favorite books to include herself as the main character. Later, she graduated on to writing her own books after "retiring" from her day job as a secretary to become a stay-at-home mom. When not playing with her kids, wrestling her dogs out the door, or cooking dinner for her family, you'll find her typing furiously and growling obscenities to the characters on the screen. Her best-selling series The Wolf's Mate, Wiccan-Were-Bear, The Necklace Chronicles, Hyena Heat, and Ashland Pride are available now.

I liked it alot it was an awsome book and yes maybe a lil too much sexual content but its fine for the people of age. If your not of age then you shouldnt have even crossed by this book so stop conplaning and live a little and get your panties out of a bunch. I loved the story overall its an intresting read;)

I like most "were" stories; but found the frequent an detailed sex scenes too blatant and unnecessary in this book. I don't have a problem with some erotic content, but whats in this book has ruined what could have been a book for all ages. Trashy and not appropriate at all for a younger person to read! Should really have erotic content warning in the descriptions.

No story & hard to like Elizabeth

It's very hard to like the female character Elizabeth. More then half the book is her own dialogue of, I hate to say slutty behavior. She's sexually active with 5 shifters & 2 vampires. 215 pages & NO story. Very disappointing.

    Were-bears rock!

Elizabeth and her were-bear twin husbands, Axe and Ash, sure give us a good story. Hot and steamy after they are collared and bound to each other. My only complaint would be that it seemed like the author got tired of writing and rushed through the last chapter by just commenting on what has taken place over the last 9 minths or so.

    Started out good...

It was good at first but got boring when there was no conflict or resistance.

    Very Adult Content

I was surprised by the amount of sexual content. I generally do not read books with that much sex and with such graphic descriptions. The plot was fairly interesting, but for me there was too much sex and not enough about everything else that was going on in the book.

    Not for me

The story was good but the author was too caught up on all the sex acts.

    3.5 stars - Well-written & hot!

Nice to read a self-pubbed with few errors. I haven't read much about wiccans, but I do love "were" stories (and this one was skillet-hot) except the bears were a little to giving(?), which lowered the conflict level. They needed more substance to their characters. The wiccan was certainly a 21st century soul...free and uninhibiited. Gotta love it. Kudos to the lead and the author.

    Decent story

The storyline was good, not great. It could have been great. The biggest problem was little attention in defining her role as a witch and jer position with the coven. The "erotic" part could have been presented a little less low class porn. Properly written the situation with the twin bears could have been very erotic but allot less disgusting. Not the worst I read but not the best either

    Too much like Anita Blake

It is a cheap version of the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton. I'm sorry but it is way too close to be a good read.

Would have been a good read if some things were left to imagination. Don't let your teen read this one.

Even free I wouldn't bother with this story. Poor writing, poor character development. I found Elizabeth to be a dumb brat with very few redeeming qualities and have no idea how she attracted one man, let alone a plethora of them.

If I could rate this book higher I would. I stumbled on this boo

If I could rate this book higher I would. I stumbled on this book by accident and I am glad I did because not only did I find an awesome author but a wonderful series. Not only is the story line great it keeps you wanting more and wanting to know what will happen with the other main characters in this story. RE is a great with her story lines and keeps you wanting more and if you like this series be sure to check out her other series the Ashland pride, the Wilde Creek, Hyena Heat and the Wolf Mate series I can't say enough about this author or her books but I do know you will not be disappointed with any of her series to say I have a favorite it would have to be the book that got me started with RE Butler and that's A Curve of Claw so pick a book and try it I will say it is not for the younger readers but it is a good book so I love my Wiccan werebear series the best

    INTERESTING

Although this is not my cup of tea ,the story is written with a different perspective than most of the shifter books. This is a definite 18+ book . L.M.A.

Elizabeth is a natural born wicca whose life has just been turne

Elizabeth is a natural born wicca whose life has just been turned upside down… she’s been told to collar a bear for the good of supernatural relations and she gets not one but two sexy bears in this charming and passionate paranormal romance.
This fast paced and smooth flowing plot enthralls reader with lots of passion and suspense.  The well written words and details bring the story to life and capture the imagination and the characters are strong compelling and grab the reader’s attention and the world the author has created bewitches the reader into wanting to know more.
Elizabeth is a very passionate woman and she loves having seven men cater to her every desire but her position as the south corner of her wiccan coven is about to change all that. For the good of the bear clan and the coven she’s been asked to collar a guard, she assumes that she can continue the things are but that’s not the case and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Elizabeth’s true passions are revealed to the reader – and to her.
While this story is short, it has lots of captivating characters and a fascinating world and I found it to be enjoyable and entertaining with lots of hot and steamy sex scenes including menage scenes and I can’t wait to read the next one.
