    A Dance through Time

A Dance Through Time was a wonderful, fast read that I thoroughly enjoyed. Elizabeth Smith is an author who lives in New York who awakes from a dream of a mysterious Scottish man. After she decides to transform her dream into a romance novel and does her research on Scotland's history, she takes a walk to a park, falls asleep, and finds herself in Medieval Scotland. Soon she finds herself facing the man from her dream in person. Now she's torn in the choice between going home, to the year 1996, or staying with the man she loves.
I enjoyed this book as a hopeless romantic, and also as a romance-lover and book-lover. What was nice about Lynn Kurland's novel was that you are guaranteed suspense and a happy ending. A Dance Through Time is definitely a feel-good story that is very difficult to put down. Overall, this book was really good. The mixture of love and hate was a great combination. Strife is always a good theme.

This one is a standout from the rest...

James and Elizabeth are the best characters and this story is the most interesting of ALL Ms Kurland's books. There are ALMOST some love scenes, too!!!

Great romance novel!! I am currently reading this book for the second time. And it is really a page turner.  The beautiful imagery the author paints of 14th century  Scotland  makes this book feel like a movie.  This book is the beginning of a fantastic series that links up each books events  and characters perfectly. I honestly don't know how this author kept all the  characters and events strait but she did it perfectly.  This book really speaks to the romantic at heart.  This is a beautiful  tale  of a writer  named Elizabeth who dreams of  a Scottish  knight and shining armor .  She is then  transported  to 14th century Scotland while resting on a New York park bench.  There really was no detail missed in this book when you think of  what would happen  if traveling back in time were possible. This is a truly great book and I wish it would be  put into nook format.

    Just The Beginning

This is just the beginning of the MacLeods series. I love all of these books. You cannot put them down. The time travel is what I like best. It only gets better. I wish this was a TV series. That would be so great.

This was an interesting story even though It is not written as well as some of her other works. There were many times in this book when it seemed like we needed more detail on how we arrived at a particular point. It just did not flow well for me. The story is cute however and the characters are fun. I know it gets better from here on. The potential and concept is fun.

    Love the Time Travel

Lynn Kurland is one of my favorites. I first read the Nine Kingdom Series and became and instant fan of her style of writing. She writes a sweet clean romance with plenty of action and excitement. These medieval men know how to woo their ladies.I love the characters in this book (Jamie and Elizabeth) and they also appear in some of her other books. It's nice to revisit some of my favorite characters and learn how their lives have progressed.

Many other great books out there

While the book was ok....I found it completley predictable and laking true emotion. I was never engrossed in this book and I wish I had been.

    Fantastic read!!

I have never read any books that can quite compare with a Lynn Kurland! This book was funny, romantic, and a thoroughly enjoyable read. Lynn is a fantastic writer and this one very much lived up to my expectations. It's rare that a book can be so enjoyable from the first page to the last, but this one certainly did that.

    A Great Read

This is by first book by Lynn Kurland, and I just adore her. Not only does she stay true to the times, and yes, the smells, but she keeps you on your toes. The characters are not perfect, I love it! I expected a cheesy romance where they fall in love at fist sight, but boy was I in for it. A truly unique and exciting plot.

Wow! romance, adventure, and an occasonal good fight!

Dance through time is the best combonation of romance, adventure, and a great heroine that isn't afraid to go toe to toe with the hero. From one side of history to the other, we get a great story of lovers, and the introduction of characters that are seen in Kurland's later books! check them all out.

    WOW !! Excellent!!!

What more can I say, than WOW !!.. this story of Jamie and Elizabeth was totally amazing.. This is a book you definitely will not put down until finished...it's a thoroughly riveting, emotional tale. Lynn Kurland has the 'touch' when it comes to writing about these MacLeods, and that 'touch' reaches out to the reader...as we go through so many feelings reading and at the same time immersing ourselves in the plot.. ..(have the tissues handy, as you'll need them, for the sad and the happy times..) Indulge and be delighted..

    Awesome!

This is probably my favorite romance novel ever with the exception of the OUTLANDER series by Diana Gabaldon. I can't tell you how many times I have purchased this book because I loaned it to someone and they won't give it back! Do yourself a favor, make a cup of cocoa, curl up in that lay z boy and enjoy!
