Chapter One
"My name is Dylan, and this is my Daddy. Isn't he
big? He says he loves me
thiiiiis much! No matter what we do, we always have tons of fun together!"
It's summer time baby, school is out!
My Daddy just told me he's taking us to the zoo. Suweet!
We load up the backpack with water, snacks, sunscreen, and even jacketsjust in case.
Yeah, we're here!!
I want to see the lions first!
The lions are the kings of the jungle! They are big and golden and when they open their mouths, you can see all their big teeth. This seems like a good time to hold my Daddy's hand a little bit tighter.
Wow, elephants are huge! I thought my Daddy was big, but not compared to an elephant. Even the baby elephant is as tall as my Daddy. Why aren't elephants the kings of the jungle? Maybe they just don't make crowns that large.
Man, giraffes are tall! Whoa Daddy, thanks for putting me on your shoulders so I can see them better. It's a good thing they eat leaves and not worms - what a nightmare that would be!
Yeah, monkeys! Monkeys are so cute, and they can hang upside down. The little ones kind of looks like me, but they have more hair.
If I had more hair, would I look like a little monkey?
