Editorial Reviews

Internet - Robin Lemann
"Cook's use of humor is a delight. A cozy mystery that is well written, holds together and provides sophisticated humor is such a welcome relief."
praise for book - John Pleasant, Ph.D. Professor of Literature, ULA
"A great blend of mystery, murder and humor with picturesque landscape of New England coast."
Internet - Gary Larabee
The author fooled us mighty good with her first mystery novel, A Nose for Hanky Panky, and she does an even better job this time with her entertaining second effort, A Deadly Christmas Carol. Serious stuff indeed, but with plenty of laughs in the right spots. An enjoyable, flowing read that makes me anxious for her next effort to be published.

This is the second Granite Cove Mystery. After reading the first: A Nose for Hanky Panky, in 2011, I emailed the author asking when another was coming out  At long last it's here. The excellent cast of characters have returned along with some new faces. This "cozy" mystery has it all: suspense, humor and heart. I love a New England village setting and bright, believable dialogue. Certain moments were scary (you won't believe the killer) and certain moments were LOL-worthy. I hope I won't have to wait too long for #3.
