Meet the Author

Cynthia Gallant-Simpson divides her year between Cape Cod, Nantucket and Puerto Rico, living with her husband on a boat. They down-sized from an antique sea captain's house on Cape Cod to a 44' boat and never looked back. She is now free to concentrate on her painting and writing. Long a mainstay in the Nantucket and Osterville art scenes with her Maritime Americana Primitive paintings she is now designing her book covers and writes every day. During a period of time that she lived in England she became "addicted" to British mysteries. Cozies just came naturally, blending in with her painting and satisfying her need to "paint" with words to make her books more than just for reading. She hopes that her readers can easily visualize her stories through her use of descriptive words.
