    I Also Recommend:

Maggie Gerber needs just the right merchandise to give her secon

Maggie Gerber needs just the right merchandise to give her secondhand shop, My Sister’s Closet, the edge over her vindictive rival Summer Phillips’ new store that has opened right across the street. The Good Buy Girls have heard that Vera Madison will be selling off her vintage clothing at the St. Stanley flea market and they plan to be first in line.

And that’s right where there are when all hell breaks loose. Vera has left her daughter in charge of her booth while she runs a quick errand. But Vera will not be returning. She was just found dead and it has been ruled a murder.  The Good Buy Girls learn Vera had more than a few skeletons in her closet and more enemies than shoes. If Maggie wants to get her store open they are going to have to bag a killer before they bag any bargains.

I am loving these Good Buy Girls and the Good Guys are not bad either. Summer Phillips is just plain mean and joined with the evil Courtney sets the reader up for a very entertaining ride.

The mystery was complex and the secrets are revealed in such a way that keeps the reader guessing right up to the very special moment where everything falls into place.

I like the romantic tension/triangle very much. Do you go back to the heartthrob of your youth or try something mature and new? Maggie is cautious and unsure and I hope the author takes her time experimenting with the couples a bit before Maggie falls hard for one or the other.  We are left guessing at the end and I refused to read ahead in the teaser chapter for Buried In Bargain because I just don’t want to know yet. Plus you know how these stories work, there has to be twists and turns, so I will not so patiently wait to read the entire thing when book #3 is released.

A Deal to Die For should be at the top of your shopping list!

    Great way to start 2013

The book is a great addition to the GBGs mystery series. The book was a great way to start 2013. The characters in St. Stanley are rich and hilarious making the story even more interesting and even more of a page turner. The last chapter will leave you wanting more. Good job Josie Belle!

Deal To Die For is the second book in the A Good Buy Girls Myste

Deal To Die For is the second book in the A Good Buy Girls Mystery series by Josie Belle. An exciting and fun read, it is.

The Good Buy Girls are all excited, well Maggie isn't really, that Maggie has taken the plunge and is getting ready to open a second hand shop. Unfortunately, Summer Phillips. Maggie's long time nemesis, has also opened a resale shop across the street.

The St. Stanley annual flea market is starting and the GBG know that Vera Madison will have a booth and that will be a good source of items for Maggie's store. Maggie heads for the doctor's office to see Vera and hopefully get the inside track on some of Vera's sale items. But on arriving there, she find Vera lying on the floor, deceased. Dr. Franklin looking distraught and holding a syringe. Quite naturally doc becomes a person of interest, but Maggie feels that Franklin is innocent, but wants to find out just what he is not telling.

Soon after, Courtney Madison shows up claiming to be the of Buzz Madison, Bianca's father. Maggie needs to see if Courtney's showing up is somehow involved, especially since she is trying to take over the estate and put Bianca out.

Everyone from book 1 are back and just as interesting. Summer is backing trying to best Maggie and Sam and Maggie are still enjoying baiting each other. But then Pete who own the Daily Grounds coffee shop is showing some interest in Maggie, too.

Looking forward to book 3 to see what develops with Maggie and her suitors.
