Overall, the story was ok, but kinda longwinded to me. I couldn't get over the fact of how close a relationship it was between a boss and his assistant. It bordered on sexual harassment.

Overall I enjoyed A Deeper Dimension. There were definite aspects aging the story to the late 20th century. The characterization was good but the ending seemed rushed and a bit confusing. I would recommend this to anyone.

    Icespirit's Challenge ~ Chapter 17

[I am so incredibly sorry guys. I made a promise that I couldn't keep. I know I said I would post on Thursday, but I had some obsticales. On Wednesday, my NOOK broke, and my mom wouldn't let me buy a new one until she had free time, which wa this morning. So, I'm back! Sorry, but Applications were closed! Enjoy this Chapter!]

&nbsp Wolftooth's unmoving body lay limply on the ground, scarred with frgments of rock, and blood.
"Who's next?" The MountainClan tom hissed, baring his teeth at the crowd.
The only one who's going to be next is you!" The shriek of Pinefrost met Icespirit's ears, as the brown warrior leapt into the nursery, and onto the tom. He yelped in surprise, and they began to tussle out in the clearing.
"Oh, Wolftooth," Icespirit sobbed, taking no notice of Pinefrost,"Don't die on me! You have kits to raise, a life to live! Don't give up now... please..." Wolftooth let out a shaky sigh, stirring,
"I-Icespirit..." she rasped,"My time has come... there is nothing you can do to change it..." the gray she-cat let out one last breath, and was gone.
"NO!" Icespirit screeched,"Wolftooth! No! You can't die! No... No..." the white warrior buried her nose in Wolftooth's cold pelt, tears spilling out. With those tears, she spilled out her fears, and troubles; along with her sorrows and regrets. It all came out

&nbsp I took poor Icespirit quite a while to digest the fact that Wolftooth, her beloved mentor and friend was gone. The white she-cat was hypnotized by sorrow, focusing on nothing but Wolftooth. Suddenly, the small mewl of a kit met her ear. -That's right!- Icespirit thought, -I forgot all about her kits!- Hesitantly, the she-cat left Wolftooth's body, and went to the kits.
"Hush little ones," she soothed,"Everything will be alright..." The gray she-cat gave a squeak of protest, battering her paws in the air.
"Now, now little one, I'll be here to protect you," At that moment, the white and silver she-cat snuggled up against Icespirit, purring. The white warrior couldn't help but smile. -They should be named...- Icespirit thought, -Wolftooth would have wanted it.- The white she-cat gave the kits one last look, before mentally deciding their names.
"You, little one," she mewed, nuzzling the white tom,"Will be called Whitekit. Wolftooth always said that she and Icegaze loved that name," Whitekit mewled softly, as if aknowledging his name. Icespirit chuckled, and moved on to the next kit,"You will be called Owlkit, in honor of Whiteowl. You look just like her." Owlkit squeaked, cuddling against Whitekit. Icespirit purred, and moved on to the gray tabby she-cat. It took her a moment to figure out the kit's name. Suddenly, it hit her,"I'll call you Wolfkit, after your mother. She was the bravest cat I've ever known,"

&nbsp Whitekit, Owlkit, and Wolfkit were all cuddled next to Icespirit by then. The she-cat purred, mewing,"Stay safe, little ones. I know that Wolftooth and Icegaze will always love you, even if they are watching from StarClan." ~M00N
[I hope you all liked it! More tomorrow!]

    Couldn't finish

It was impossible for me to buy into the characters and plot line. I eventually became so frustrated with the plot I couldn't read any further. Even though this is a rerelease of an older book, I don't think I could have bought into it back in the '80's.
