    Needs editing!

Not a bad story, but the run-on sentences and near complete lack of editing had me rereading lines over and over to try and catch the gist. Very distracting and kinda ruined it for me.

Second book read on to the third

I enjoyed it of course but I still don't get the hostilities between Miles the Sheriff, their uncle and especially Ashley. Hoping that's resolved next book. I am addicted now.

    Editing needed

I enjoyed the story but quite often my attention was jarred by the grammatical errors and misspellings.

Grayson Cole and Nora Banks find themselves in what could be a compromising situation. Nora's father demands that Grayson marry his daughter. Grayson lost his wife of two weeks five years ago and is not ready to move on even if Nora makes him feel things he's not ready to except. Nora thinks no good man will ever want her can they overcome everything against them to be happy?
This was a short fast read and I loved it so glad that I bought the first three books in the series.

This was such a great book! It was my first Hildie McQueen book, and will not be my last! All of the characters are amazing! I definitely want to read more to see what happens to each of them. I liked Nora right from the beginning. She is tough and has not let her past destroy her. Grayson is very entertaining. I especially liked him when he was interacting with Nora, or his brothers. I admire the loyalty between all the characters. Nora and her brother have a very strong relationship, and the Cole family is very close. This book had quite a bit of excitement in it. There was always something happening, which I loved. I'm definitely going to check out the rest of the series because reading one sucked me into the whole series. I want to know what happens next!

I loved this story!  There were several gut wrenching scenes where you might need a box of Kleenex so be warned!  Nobody said life in the old west was easy and this story shows many aspects of how hard things used to be.  I was a huge fan of Little House on the Prairie growing up and I still enjoy reading stories from that era.  Hildie paints a vivid picture of the joys and heartaches of that time period.

In this story have the handsome cowboys which are the Cole brothers and a feisty schoolmarm, named Nora.  You meet their families, get to know their quirks and daily life.  There were several scenes where I found myself smiling or laughing out loud because of the attributes that Hildie gives these amazing characters!

This is a quick read, so I don't want to reveal too much of the plot.  The hilarious situation that proceeds the "forced engagement" of Nora and Grayson had me rolling.  As the story continues we find out why neither of them want to be married, especially to each other.  So many complications! I really wasn't sure what would happen until the very end!  Be warned there's some spice to this cowboy story - woo hoo!!

Can't wait to read the rest of the series!!
