What do we expect in a graphic novel, graphics or novel? Spending far too much time drawing all those crystals, bubbles, and flowers detracts from the advancement of the story. Tantrum Girl is resting, the opposition is agitating, and diverse plotters are busy with their intrigues, all building up to the approaching climax. But this has taken a quarter century, the background has shifted drastically and motivations and interests back on Earth could have changed. Or conversely, Ovanan's leadership has been absent from affairs of state for such a long time, not much for immortals, but substantial for the governed, that one wonders what has been going on back home. Anyway, Siovansin has shattered, look to the next issue to learn the true might of crystal power. Will we all end up back in Avalon? Don't miss the next exciting adventure, meanwhile stocking up on this one and keep rereading it as it will have to last for a while.
