About the Author

Douglas Ward is a Pastor, Professor, and frustrated golfer who's best moments in life come from being a dad. Doug pastors a mid-sized church in suburban Chicago, and is an Adjunct Professor at Olivet Nazarene University. Doug grew up in a single parent home in Marion, OH and golfed on the local courses in North-Central Ohio. His love and passion for the game was fostered by a grandfather, and it only grew in life. That passion is shared by a son. Doug has a B.A. degree in Religion from Olivet Nazarene University, a Masters in New Testament from Wheaton College, and has completed all coursework toward a Ph.D. from Marquette University. Yet his love is golf, and the time with family and friends on the course.
