Enjoyed this book. Refreshing and interesting. Always like a book that includes an animal and a free spirit. New romance is always fun when it involves two single people who are open, wanting a relationship and a fresh start.

This was a great story. It would've been nice for it to continue and find out the next adventures of the characters, but it ended in a good way.

This is a touching story! Good series flow. Although created as a series, each story holds its own without requiring knowledge of the preceding book.

Read the other free book. However, would not read the others, as I don't think I would want to pay for them. The characters need more rounding and more depth.

Good storyline, but it felt way too abbreviated to me. I need to know more about the circumstances to get involved emotionally. Like, what is his business he's bringing to town? How did he get the gunshot wound? What about his experience with the gang? Why exactly are her dad and bro so overprotective and overbearing when she's in her late twenties? A one sentence explanation just isn't enough to pull me into the story. Just too vague.
