Here I am sitting her staring at my computer…not knowing where to go with this review or what to write. I am blown away by this series and anything I write will not do this book (or series) any justice. Who would have thought one little email back in Oct 2011 asking me to review a book would begin my love affair for these wonderful, beautiful characters. Characters that took up residence in my heart and mind…characters that lingered on for days after finishing each book of the series. There is no way I can translate how wonderful Elizabeth Hunter’s books are or how awesome she is as a person. You will just have to take my word for it and read her work.
My heart broke with the final installment of the series, A Fall of Water. I do believe it was one of the more emotional stories of the entire series and I was sad, so sad, to see it end. At one point I thought I was going to sever any and all ties to Mrs. Hunter. She knows how much I adore Gio…and if anything were to happen to him…I would no longer consider her a friend. ;)
But seriously…A Fall of Water was absolutely amazing and heart wrenching all rolled into one. Several times I caught myself tearing up (one time full blown bawling) at the scenes Hunter threw at me. And sometimes I would squeak out a laugh at the hilarious banter between Carwyn, Beatrice, and Gio. Gosh I love that trio!!
And the ending!!! Don’t get me started on that ending. It was brilliant…it was gripping…it was beautiful…it was perfect. And the epilogue could only mean one thing…spin off!! Or at least in my mind that’s what it means. So to you Mrs. Hunter I say Bring It!
In a final note I leave you with this…this series is truly a marvelous one. You get action, mystery, suspense, and lots of hot, sexy romance. The characters become your family and the stories remain with you long after they are done. Thank you Nichole Chase for sending Elizabeth my way and thank you Elizabeth for allowing me to review your work; I look forward to reading more of your books in the future.

4 elements, 4 books... the end.
I loved the stories and characters. I'm glad the story isn't dragged out but I am curious about the relationship wiht Ben and Tenzin as he gets older. Well, that's what my imagination is for...

Ms Hunter has done it again. This last book in the Elemental Mysteries series has everything.....Romance, Action, Humor, Great Characters, History.....What a wonderful read. Book 4 reunites us with Bea & Gio, who IMO are such a sweet, sexy couple. Just having the two of them on the page together is steamy....must be the fire/water combination. All of our favorite supporting characters are back: Carwyn, Tenzin, Ben, Dez & Matt. Some new characters have been added and I will admit to getting attached to most of them as well. The storyline that was begun in A Hidden Fire comes to an excellent, satisfying conclusion. This is a well written series that has a lot of meat to the story. I am looking forward to reading more on the side characters.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Elemental series. They are well written, with wonderful characters and are a new twist on vampires. I think these books are some that I will go back and read again. Highly recommend these, just be sure to read them in order!

I love this series! A very cool take on vampires and I love the romance with Gio and B. The settings are amazing and inspiring, the action is amazing, and the side characters are all intriguing. I was totally enthralled with the whole series, beginning to end. Can't wait to read Carwyn's story, I hope to see peeks of Gio and B again in there as well. I highly recommend this series, you won't be sorry if you try them I promise!

What can I say? This is an incredible story. It is full of Action, Emotion and Detail that makes you want to pick up the next book to see what happens next. Only the story is done....and the reader is left satisfied and pleased. This is the kind of book and series that when you are done you can't help thinking about it for a couple days and you need to read some fluff next to keep you going...nothing series. I loved it...one of my top favorites!

I just finished A fall of Water, and I have to say it is truly the best of the best. I could not put it down. It made me cry in more than one part. I swear I'm going to dream of Giovanni tonight. The only bad thing about this is it is the last in the series.
This is a must read.

I don't know what to say except that I'm so sad that this series is completed. I've fallen so in love with all of the characters in this story, that I was in mourning over the ending of this fantastic series. Good news is, it looks like there will be a spin off! WOOT!
It's difficult to write a review of this book without revealing spoilers, so I will be to the point with how it made me feel instead. Because of my attachment to these characters, I was deeply pulled in to the story. Thinking about when I opened the first page, I think I said out loud, "Aaaahhhh....welcome back love." That was to Gio by the way. *winks* The reader knows going in to this book that there is the potential for mass chaos and major heart ache to ensue, because of the pretty huge changes that happened at the end of book three. Did chaos and heartbreak occur? Yes, yes they did. I was near tears on more than one occasion. That Gio really pulls at my heart and my patience. LOL
I felt like the ending was superb. The story was drawn to a close nicely. Again, I was near tears, but it wouldn't be a good book otherwise, right? Even though Gio and B's adventures have come to a close, EH has left us with the exciting thrill of what may come in the future with the supporting characters from this series. I CAN'T WAIT! The development of these characters has left me wanting more, more, more!!!
If you haven't read this series, please go check it out. Not only is the story truly spectacular, but there is a sophistication to the writing that I've truly enjoyed. I look forward to any book Elizabeth Hunter brings my way.

Overview
Still grieving from their loss in the far East, Giovanni Vecchio and Beatrice De Novo discover that for them, all roads really do lead to Rome. But nothing is quite as it seems in the Eternal City. Joined by Carwyn and Tenzin, unexpected clashes greet them almost immediately, and rivalries churn beneath the glittering facade of the old Roman court. They quickly realize that allies might be enemies, and ancient...
