Overview

In a city built on dreams, Trisha Holiday makes her living moving like one. But out of her dancer’s costume, she’s as down-to-earth as they come. That’s why she ignores the admiring note that arrives backstage after one of her ethereal performances. Yet the sender, a wealthy foreign prince, isn’t easily dissuaded. An American education has made Malik long for the freedom to choose his own bride—and the woman he wants is Trisha.

After a breathtaking visit to Malik’s kingdom culminates in a marriage proposal, Trish attempts to adjust to an opulent new lifestyle. In the midst of these dizzying changes, she vows to help her sister, Emma, whose marriage has ended in a bitter breakup. And through it all, she strives to stay true to what matters most—love, true friendship, and the ties that hold family together across the miles and the years—and embrace the everlasting dance of life.

I loved this book, it is a work of fiction so it can be written anyway the author chooses. It is a great book that makes you root for the main character who was always a down to earth and caring, loving person. Fern Michaels is a fantastic author and I enjoy reading her books and this was no exception. It is a great read, it makes you laugh, cry and hopeful.

True romance.

Fern Michaels knows how to write a beautiful love story. There is, of course some sadness, but that’s what life is all about. There is also a good helping of revenge, which is always a good thing. This is a great book that is well worth the read.

Thank God I decided to read the sample before buying this... the lead male character is beyond ridiculous; he offered her a thousand dollar bill and then proceeded to explain to his friend that he desires this woman to accept for him who he is; what is that exactly?... an arrogant jack*** who treats under-payed women as sl***!
