Touching, well written, cute, filled with beautiful pictures made by the author, many descriptions of beautiful things i.e. the king's castle, feasts, his possession. King Big Bear is a complex, lovable character who is so adorable, you want to befriend him. This story has a powerful message about animal intelligence and emotions -- a must read for kids and adults!
