I was disappointed with this book compared to others in the series. I had a copy years ago that had lots of
colored plates of the flowers. The current edition has some, but most of the pictures are black and white. I feel this is totally unacceptable in identifying plants. The Peterson Bird Guide has many excellent colored plates. This book is a disappointment, and if falls flat.
