More About This Book

Overview

At thirty-six, university art professor Elizabeth Gilstrom finds herself facing a bleak, lonely future when her husband leaves her for his young medical assistant. After giving up her own career as an artist a decade before, Elizabeth has nothing to show for their ten-year marriage . . . only the faded memory of a paintbrush's weight in her hand, an empty bed, and an empty heart.

She's still reeling from shock and devastation when graduate student Boone McCrea walks into her office...and into her bed. Boone might only be twenty-four, but he is, quite simply, one of the most attractive men Elizabeth has ever seen, a work of art that stirs wild sensations she has long repressed.

    Great read!!!

I have had this in my library forever, enticed to buy because of the beauty of the cover. Little did I know that lurking inside was a great story. This book isn't real long(113pgs) but I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind seeing these characters again. The book was published awhile ago though, so probably not much chance. Looks like the author is with a new publisher and books are more spendy. I'll check them out anyway. I really like the writing. Check this out!! I think you'll like it to.

Another great story by Shelby Reed.

This was a a short story. I have now become a huge fan of Shelby Reed. Between this story and The Fifth Favor......I plan to read everything this woman has ever written. The thing I like most about her books is the sensuality that runs rampant throughout the story. Even when the couple is not actually having sex...it feels like they are. Well done Ms. Reed.

Elizabeth Gilstrom is a college art teacher who is in the midst of a divorce after she catches her husband cheating. Boone McCrea is the amazingly sexy graduate student who comes into her life at the exact right time.

As I've stated this was a quick story but Ms. Reed managed to cover all the bases. The chemistry between the 2 lead characters is hot and sexy. Boone was just absolutely delicious and Elizabeth was a character that anyone can relate with and root for. Another great read.
