This is one of the best novels I've picked up from an epublisher. The story is so well-crafted, I couldn't put it down. Debora Dennis blends contemporary and historical elements to perfection in this ghost story of redemption and forgiveness. I loved the idea of an 1806, reality-like television reenactment of the main characters lives. The heroine was strong, yet willing to bend. The hero is likable, tortured soul with just enough flaw to make me smile. Great portrayals. I wanted to be in the story. It's a long time since I read a story I wanted to be a part of. :)
