I have read several series from this author including Slick Rock. I couldn't finish this book. First: $5.49 for maybeee 100 pgs of story is ridiculous. Second: I only made it 1/3 in to the story and was frustrated, bored & skimming. Tori was completely unlikeable. A third of the way into the book & she's still playing hard to get. I actually wanted the guys to meet someone else & move on. Tori was a broken record about her cold upbringing, 2 bad boyfriends, being independant & not wanting a man. I had hoped the author would let her have her way and bring in a new heroine for the guys. Luther, Jerimiah & Bryant were short changed. Tori was stand offish to the point of being rude. This went on for Weeks. Page 45 & I was done. So.... Save your $, time & patience. Read one of the previous books. The earlier ones are great. Skip this one. You won't miss a thing.
