In the 3rd of the series – March may have brought with it better weather, but it's done nothing to improve human nature. Private detective Jane Hetherington’s kept busy unearthing a man long gone to ground; Lucy Erpingham’s secret; thieves who prefer brassicas to cash, the culprit running up bills in another’s name and unusual pests.

it was an absolute pleasure reading it. The characters are very endearing and I cannot wait to read the next books

I'm rereading books and series I love and this is one of them.
This is the third of this series. It's another collection of vignettes, which is this series' trademark.
Again – very well written, delightful likeable characters and stories. Tears and laughter.
