There is nothing more difficult for a gay man than having to hide an integral part of their lives in order to pursue service to their country. Emmett is such a young man. He joins the Navy in order to obtain an education and serve his country. What he learns about himself during his years of service allows him to become a valued member of the military family while still being able to be gay. He learns also how to pass on his experience to other gay men so that they too can become all they can be while still being true to their sexual desires and needs.
This is the story of one young man's journey to professional, personal and sexual satisfaction.

Mr. Telfer created a fun read. Most vets will enjoy the accuracy in many of the book's events. All gay military & vets will appreciate the way the book's lead character explores his gay side, whilst never forgetting, nor neglecting his military duties & obligations.
