All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Released by Columbia/Legacy in 1994, A Gene Autry Christmas is an excellent overview of his holiday recordings for Columbia, featuring no less than 16 songs, including his classic "Here Comes Santa Claus," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "If it Doesn't Snow on Christmas Day," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" and "Everyone's a Child at Christmas." Where Is Gene Autry's Christmas?

As A child in the early 1950's I owned a set of 78 RPM phonographs of Gene Autry. On the second side of one of them was a song titled 'If It Doesn't Snow On Christmas'. I have been looking for that song for over 35 years and no one seems to know what I am talking about. When I learned of the death of Gene Autry I thought my chance to ever find it was gone until I found MusicMatch.com today. I typed in Gene Autry and whatdayaknow!! I found the song listed on the Gene Autry's Christmas CD. My joy soon turned to grief when I went to order the CD. I found that it is not available. Please get MusicMatch.com to add it to the list of available CD's very soon. I want that CD.
