Nothing was as it seems when it came to Monica Lancing, aka Delilah to her scene friends. She was living so many lies that she no longer knew the truth, until the day Ridge Nicholaus walked into Strong Blends and unraveled her world.
New to town, Ridge decides to join two old friends and their sub at an underground BDSM club for a holiday play-party. The moment he sees Delilah, resident pain slut, he desires nothing more than to see her bent over and taking the bite from his whip. Instantly, he discovers there's more to her than meets the eye. Using her boldness against her, Ridge makes a bet with the captivating vixen that by Christmas morning he'll bring her to her knees by showing her the gentle side of the lifestyle. If he wins she'll agree to be his submissive, exclusively. If he loses he'll allow her to keep her secrets.
This Christmas experience the gentle kiss of a whip...

It seems since the success of the Fifty Shades and Twilight trilogies (don't know why but there you go), every AA writer has decided to overwhelm their fans with BDSM and shifter crap!!. So how is a reader not supposed to get bored with the deluge of these novels!! How is a fan supposed to NOT SCOFF AND ROLL their eyes at an author who pumps out so many of these 55-100 pg books snatch our money and leave us saying "say what now, this writer just gipped me!!!" So here I go putting you "writers" on blast with these far, far, far away fairytale storytelling..kick rocks! Going forward I'd rather spend my $5 on white authors who respect the English language, appreciate the art of storytelling and respect their fans intelligence. Authors who desire to incite the imagination to escape the everyday stresses of life in a well-written love HEA story. Can anyone imagine these BDSM folks still living that life at 50 and 60! And how much blood can you drink from the dead?
