Posted on Romancing the Books blog / Reviewed by Crystal / Review copy provided by the Publisher / I really enjoyed reading this book. It was pretty short and that’s the only thing that I can say that I didn’t like. Just when the story was getting really good, I came to the last page. I wish that I had a friend like Jodie has. I would love to get a Christmas card in the mail and find out that my friend has got me a mini vacation to Niagara Falls. To have everything paid for because she didn’t want me to spend Christmas by myself. The feelings that Jodie and Sebastian have for each other is instant. They can’t keep their hands off each other. I love a story that just gets right into the good parts. The storyline was short but it got the point across so I can’t say that I was disappointed. This wasn’t the first book that I have read by Kacey Hammell and it won’t be the last. I enjoy reading her books and each one is different. I really like when an author can write a full length book and a short novel and still keep the reader entertained. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a short read. You still get a great read but just isn’t as long.
