Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Eleanor Heldrich
This inexpensive lift-the-flap paperback book carries forward the Disney version of Winnie the Pooh and his woodland friends for a new generation of children enchanted with the lovable woodland characters first created many decades ago by A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard. "Today we are going on a gift-giving expedition!" announces Pooh's friend Christopher Robin as he comes in the door. "Everyone will need to find something to give away as a gift." Owl and Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger, Kanga and Rabbit all find something special they think someone else would like to have. Christopher Robin gives Owl a set of pencils and Piglet gives Pooh a red balloon. Then Pooh remembers he is still holding his own gift, a honey pot, and what happens next you can only discover by reading the very last page of this book.
