Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
In these two books, the authors share their professional knowledge on domestic interior design. Guild, chairwoman and creative director of Designers Guild, describes how she has used color to create a particular mood, from serene to vibrant, with color photographs that depict her own home and recent commissions. Wheatman continues in the same vein as his Meditations on Design, giving his ideas for the amateur and professional designer. His advice on storage, furniture arrangement, and other topics succeeds in providing fresh ideas to finished interiors. Both books are recommended for academic and large interior design collections. Loved It

I really enjoyed this book. It was a different approach to decorating. I found alot of ideas for rooms that I was having some difficulty decorating. I highly recommend 'A Good House is Never Done.'
