RECOMMENDED FOR MATURE READERS, AGES 18 AND UP

Things are heating up in Century City.

Brooke Graves, against her better judgment, has decided to reconnect with her ex Stanley Morris. He may be man with questionable morals, but he has a lot of love for this half of Century City’s prettiest grim reaping team.

Avery Graves is finding herself torn between the affections of two men. She wants to do the right thing and stay true to her loyal boyfriend, but her heart may have other ideas.

Lori Standford’s mother died six months ago, but she’s too terrified to grieve properly. It seems Mommy Standford is back, haunting Lori out of her home. With nowhere else to go, Lori turns to the Graves sisters for help.

This time the girls don’t have to hunt down a renegade dead soul, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be any easier.

Avery and Brooke Graves are back in the third installment in Rea

Avery and Brooke Graves are back in the third installment in Reapers in Heels. I love this duo. Avery is the level-headed, business-minded older sister and Brooke is the over-sexed, live-in-the-moment, little sister. Somehow they even each other out and make the perfect pair to go chasing after the dead souls to escort into the afterlife. This time they are doing a favor for their mother; a friend has some kind of entity causing havoc in her house, making it smell like fresh-baked cookies (yes, cookies, you read right!). They are still being pursued by the big reaper company in town, a shady establishment that does not seem to be on the up-and-up at all. The girls also have to deal with their love lives: Brooke can't break away from her loan shark ex and Avery is tempted by Thane Grym. What I love about this book is what I love about all of the RIH books--the girls are a great comedy team and the dialogue is wonderful. There are some typos and editing issues here and there, but overlook those and just enjoy the story--its worth it!
