This is the authoritative text on poicephalus species. I have a Senegal parrot and can honestly say that this book has helped me more than any other in understanding this species and helping deal with problems as they come along as well as prevent new ones from developing. There is not much out there on Poicephalus parrots, but this book covers everything from diet, cages, grooming to biting, and how to live harmoniously with these wonderful little birds. This is a must have for anyone who wants or has a Senegal, Red bellied, Jardines, Brown Headed or Meyers Parrot. Actually, all of the Poicephalus Parrots are discussed in depth in this book. I can't recommend it more highly. It is essential reading.
