Having a hard time getting into this book. I can only read 1-2 stories before I get bored with it. It has gore but its missing the 'scare' factor. Because I paid $$ for it I'm going to force to finish it...one day.

An awesome collection of extreme horror short stories based around the holidays this book is pretty aick in both a good and bad way. Jack ketchum starts off the collection in his usual disturbing way and believe me it doesnt let up from there. Graphicand gory this is not for the feint of heart but worth it if you can stomach it.

Great anthology, I thought all the stories were going to be Christmas based but the common theme is ANY holiday. Be warned - some of these are pretty gruesome, all of them were good to great. Usually there are at least a couple of stories I don't care for in an anthology (only natural with so many different writing styles) but not this time. A nice little antidote to holiday sweetness overload.
