Meet the Author

Jamie was born into a big, crazy family of 6 children. Being the youngest, she always got away with anything and would never shut up. Constantly letting her imagination run wild, her teachers were often frustrated when her 'What I did on the weekend' stories contained bunyips and princesses.

Growing up, Jamie did the sensible things and obtained a Bachelor of Business degree from Southern Cross University and worked hard to gain her membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Yet nothing compared to writing. Quiting the rat race to spend quality time with her laptop named Lily, Jamie has written several novels and screenplays. Spanning a number of genres and mediums, Jamie writes whatever inspires her from ghost stories to teenage love stories to tantalising murder mysteries. Nothing is off limits.

A self-confessed television addict, dog lover, Taylor Swift fan, and ghost hunter, Jamie loves nothing more than the thrill of sharing her stories.

    Love it!

This book was a great short read, only 105 pages. In this short but sweet book the main character is anything but normal, she enjoys things a normal teenageer would hate and hates things they would love. I would definately reccomend this book and hope the author gets proper recognition, though I wish there was more detail available because I was confused at times.

    Cute

This is an adorable book! A wonderful story to read when you have nothing to do. I had only a few problems, such as poor spelling (smelt instead of smelled, puppy dog tale instead of tail, and so on). I suggest and recommend this really fabulous read when you're bored.

    An editor would help

I was reading this with my nine-year-old, and I was appalled by the poor grammar. So many sentences were actually multiple sentences strung together by commas. I think some of the spelling may be British English, but there is no excuse for poor grammar.

    Wonderful

I love this story. It was something I was read in the car on the ride between my mom's and dad's and able to finish. This story might be short but it is worth reading. I love this author and her books they are amazing.

This is a great book, mostly about 3 characters ( Harry, Hannah and Basil). Hannah, the main character, is a teenage girl thet is totally opposite than most teenagers( except for maybe Harry)! As Hannah and Harry fight to find Basils family they themselves become good friends. I could not put this book down amd i finished it in 1 day! Only 105 pages, great for a short read for any ages and animal lovers. Pick up this book and find yourself wrapped up in the adventures that Harry and Hannah encounter! Love this book and love Basil!
