A Heart Ablaze: Igniting a Passion for God

Overview

God delivered Israel from Egyptian bondage to captivate them for Himself. In the arid wilderness He planned to reveal His nature and ways to them, but they drew back. How different are we today? Rather than pursuing His heart they have cleaved to this world's form of worship-the worship of self. As a result we have changed the image of Jesus to be like us. Fire can alter these images. The fire we need is ...

    What a powerful message!

This book brings forth such a powerful message and uses scripture (predominantly the story of Moses) to explain the keys to getting closer to God: Obedience and Santification. This book blessed me so much that I am now in the process of reading another book by the author called 'The Bait of Satan.'

    Absolutly on the mark!!!

John Bevere clearly knows what it takes to ignite a passion for God. This book will make you stop and think about your own relationship with God. Where do you REALLY stand with Him? This is the first book I have read by Bevere, but it WILL NOT be the last.

    Going deeper with Jesus

A touching book that will draw you closer to the Lord. A good book about getting the fire back for seeking the Lord.

This book rekindled my hunger for God!

I couldn't put this book down. Churches, people, we are all in a state of 'complacency', comfortable as 'pew-sitters'. A Heart Ablaze is a challenge and a wake-up call, well-timed, well-needed! Thank you!

Possibly One of the Most Important books ...ever!

This book when you pick it up ...you know it is something special...and you feel that you will never be the same after reading. I can say that experiencing this book is akin to Moses going up to the mountain to witness the Glory of God. Not an easy thing to do, yet it causes you to deeply desire a relationship with the Creator,Lord of all life...this will ignite your heart, soul and mind to Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirt and the Father. This is a book that will mark Christianity for people of any faith. The correlation of Moses and the Israelites to today's people of the church is profound and life changing in concept.

The Most Important Aspect of Christianity

'A Heart Ablaze', is one of the most powerful books I have ever read. The message that the most important aspect of an individuals life is his/her relationship with God, is clearly articulated. This work has really changed my focus on what is critical in my spiritual life. I certainly would recommend John Bevere's book to anyone seeking a closer relationship with God.
