Glaswegian alt-rock phenomenons Snow Patrol follow up the platinum success of Eyes Open with A Hundred Million Suns. The band's third album once again pairs them with producer Jacknife Lee (U2's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, REM's Accelerate), and features the single "Take Back the City."

Editorial Reviews

Rolling Stone - Jody Rosen
The band distinguishes itself from the post-Coldplay pack with a flair for arrangements that almost justifies the grandiosity of 16-minute epics like "The Lightning Strike".

On a friends reccomendation, I picked it up.... and I have been listening on a regular basis. Great sound. Now I get to see them perform live when they open for U2 this fall. A

This is yet another amazing album from Snow Patrol! It astonishes me that they just keep getting better and better!! this album is reminicent of their first two albums, "Songs For Polar Bears" and "When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up", which I absolutely adore. There is a lot more experimantation on this album, yet the sound is still very Snow Patrol! I actually had a hard time getting through the album the first time because I just wanted to listen to each song over and over again...it was that good! Like always, I can't pick a favourite song...they are ALL my favourite!

This album is great! I was looking for new music and this hit the spot. Some haunting arrangements that really resonate. Highly recommend!
