A Is For Aggression: Unrated
They say you catch more flies with honey, but what about when those "flies" have teeth? Big ones. That's where A is for Aggression comes in. Forget the sweet-talking, feel-good stories of yesteryear. Ben shows his frustration and sarcasm in each word.

Inside, you'll find 41 down-and-dirty chapters stuffed with the honest, sarcastic, and sometimes salty wisdom only a fed-up canine behaviourist can deliver. Drawing on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy techniques, plus a healthy dose of experimental ideas that actually work, this guide doesn't just tell you what to do-it takes you by the hand (hopefully still intact) and shows you how to understand your dog's aggression and work through it.

From jaw-dropping real-life cases (prepare to laugh, cry, and mutter "what the F*%K is wrong with this guy!") To step-by-step techniques that go beyond cookie-cutter methods, this book offers everything you never knew you needed: humor, heart, and-let's be honest-a lot of swearing.

This isn't your typical feel-good, warm-fuzzies training book.

So grab your wine, your tic tacs, grab your leash, and maybe grab some aspirin. A is for Aggression might just change the way you see your dog-and maybe yourself.

Warning: Contains explicit language, questionable jokes, and zero tolerance for B.S. You've been warned.

About the Author

Born in Australia, Ben moved to the United States at a young age and pursued higher education at Western Kentucky University (WKU), in Biology and Psychological Science. His professional journey began in the early 2000s at a humane society, where he trained dogs and worked extensively on feline behaviour to help animals find their forever homes.

Ben's expertise expanded as he trained at a wildlife sanctuary and later served as the Animal Manager at Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo. His breadth of experience includes training dogs in various capacities, including working at stockyards across the United States.

Ben's methodologies in animal training were further refined through his study and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). His work as an ABA therapist and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) involved supporting children on the autism spectrum and teenagers facing challenges with chemical dependency. In addition to these accomplishments, Ben has earned the esteemed title of Master Canine Behaviorist through the Board of Canine Behaviorists. He has also achieved distinction as a Master Herpetologist through The Amphibian Foundation in Georgia, highlighting his expertise in reptile behaviour and care.

He specializes in canine aggression cases and the training of four types of service dogs.

Currently, Ben trains state and government employees in proper techniques and strategies for engaging with dogs and their handlers in real-world scenarios, emphasizing safety and effective communication.
