Cousins Kim and Tyler Malek combined their love of ice cream and community engagement to create Salt & Straw, a beloved US-based ice cream shop that boasts unique flavor combinations featuring local artisans and ingredients. Beginning as a food cart in Portland, Oregon, in 2011, Salt & Straw now has 40 locations from coast to coast.

Kim and Tyler prioritize delicious flavor combinations alongside local community engagement and support of nonprofit organizations.
