The king and queen of Latvala are pitted against the most dangerous adversary they've ever faced: mother nature. Sander must make his way back across the frozen hinterlands to Chey, fighting against whiteouts, frigid temperatures, and possible traitors in their camp. Danger lurks around every corner.

Chey battles social unrest, mutiny and anarchy as she struggles to keep Kallaster castle in working order during Sander's absence. When she finds herself and her children thrust blindly into a blizzard, she looks to the ancient sovereigns of Latvala for help.

Find out whether the king reunites with his queen or whether both succumb to the ravages of winter in book 7 of the Royals series.

another amazing Chey and Sander chapter in their lives! makes me want to reread(again for the fourth time) their whole story!!! OMG! I LOVE this book! It's amazing! this series is one of my all time favorites! I just LOVE SAnder- and Chey, and Mattias and Leander ;) Sander is my favorite :D there was so much suspense! I was on the edge of my seat! I enjoyed how Danielle went from Chey and Sander, which just led to MORE suspense! it was SSSOOOOO good! AMAZING!!! I LOVED and LAUGHED at the epilogue! perfect! perfect ending AND OR perfect beginning, either way I am completely satisfied and happy!!!

I've read all the books in this series and loved each story. Not once did any of them lose steam in the story telling. The author had me going through many different emotions: laughter, sadness, surprise, shock, intrigue, love and awe! Again, I read frequently and have been reading for decades. This is one of the best series written and tales spun that I've read in may years! I'm impressed! Delightful and tastefully done! Excellent job by the author! Is there a book about Natalia?! I'm getting ready to read the next phase of this series.

Can I just saw wow!!!! Danielle did not disappoint!!! This is book 7 of the royals and if you have not read all the other 6 i recommend starting with Heir Untammed. My ultimate favorite part is when the scrabble word floray came back into play in this book. That took me back to the time at the beginning when Chey and Sander's love took off!!! This book had all the similar things readers have come to love about Chey and Sander and the whole royal gang plus wynn and lean. There was definitely a twist I did not see coming at all. I had a few favorite parts, where Elias has so much of both of his parents in him and in this book you got to see that. Plus he has been studying so that he is ready to take after his father. I was so into the book that I had to step outside for a minute and I really thought I needed a coat for a blizzard when in fact it is like 95 and way humid out!! Definitely a recommended read!!!!!!!
