    Can we turn our dreams and wishes into reality?

    For nine years through sea voyages and battles Captain Nikolas Acton has longed to find the woman he encountered for one brief day. She was enchanting and has kept him mesmerized for want of her and the desire to find her has driven him back to where it all began those many years ago.

    Lady Patricia Morgan also spent these years longing for Nik and wondering what happened to him. She was married to another she did not love and had two children before becoming a widow. Patricia found a place for herself by running the estate her late husband had almost brought to ruin and caring for her sons. But she also designed beautiful rings for those that cannot afford them and has filled her days with projects but her nights with thoughts of that man.

    An encounter on the highway finds the two star crossed lovers back where it all began, trying to figure out how to be together and not ruffle any society feathers. But now they are more mature, seasoned with life's edges and still wanting to have a meeting of their lips and realize the power passion can reign in on one's life.

    Lovely and well told in an anthology format. Ms. Ashe weaves the story quickly and keeps the characters moving without ever leaving out the romance of this relationship.

    Short but sweet

    This short romance ( 114 pgs.) was better than I thought! The characters was lovable and intrguing. I loved the ending and the epilogue leads you in to the second book of the series.

    Love!

    Loved it! This was everything I want when I read a romance: passionate, funny, heart-breaking (in a good way), and sweet. And the ending was just perfect. It gave me shivers, tears, and giggles all at once. Perfect short read!
